Q: Will I be charged for a subscription after signing up for a Morpholio account or after my Pro trial ends?
A: No. The app is free to download and the basic version of the app is also free. Once the Pro trial ends, you will simply only have access to basic functions, but you will not be automatically signed up for a subscription or charged. You will only be charged if you sign up for a subscription from the Pro popup.

Q: I purchased a Trace subscription, but my subscription isn't working. What do I do?
A: Restart the Trace app and when you see the Pro Store popup, tap Restore Purchases to activate your subscription.

Q: What 3D model file types can imported to Trace Pro?
A: You can import .obj and .usdz files.

Q: Can I rearrange the order of my layers?
A: Yes. Press and hold the Layer you want to rearrange until it pops up slightly. Then drag up or down within the Layer Toolbar.

Q: Can I remove a background image after tracing it?
A: Yes. Tap ••• next to the background layer (the bottom layer). Then tap Change Background. To make the background layer empty, tap Blank.

Q: Is there a stylus that works best?
A: For the iPad Pro we highly recommend the Apple Pencil. For other devices we do not endorse any particular stylus and each of us have our preferences.

Q: Can I save my sketches in an editable file format?
A: Yes. All sketches are automatically saved in the Saved Projects section on the home page.

Q: In what file formats can I save my Trace projects?
A: Trace Projects can be exported as JPEGs and PDFs. If you would like other formats please let us know at the Send Request Form.

Q: Can I lock Layers or Stencils?
A: Yes. To lock a Layer, tap ••• and then tap Lock Position. To lock a Stencil, tap Lock Size or Lock Rotation.

Q: I got a new device. Can upload my Trace projects from my old device?
A: Yes but only through iTunes. If you backup your old device to iTunes and then restore your new device with that backup, your Trace Projects will appear on your new device. Sync is coming soon.

Q: How do I manage my subscription to Trace?
A: Please follow those steps:
1) Go into your device settings.
2) Tap on iTunes & App Stores.
3) Tap on your Apple ID at the top.
4) View Apple ID.
5) Tap the Manage button under Subscriptions.

Q: How can I import PDFs?
A: Tap , then Cloud Drives and then Locations. To import PDFs from Dropbox or your email, export the PDF from the other app then tap Open in Trace.

Q: How do I know what layer I am drawing on?
A: Just like real trace paper, the top visible layer is the active layer. To change the order, tap and drag a layer to the top.

Q: How do I erase?
A: Tap on your brushes and select the eraser tool!

Q: My lines are pixelated when I draw. What can I do?
A: To get the best resolution, when you zoom in to draw a detail, create a new layer and this will give you higher resolution lines.

Q: My PDFs are low-res when I bring them into Trace. What can I do?
A: When images and PDFs are imported to Trace, they are reduced to 2K (4K for iPad Pro devices) to allow Trace to run smoothly. To better control the quality, we recommend reducing the size of your PDFs before bringing them into Trace.

Q: Can I save multiple Boards?
A: Yes. First remember to periodically tap to manually save your current Board. Tap to see all of your saved Boards.

Q: Can I copy an image from one Board to another?
A: Yes, press and hold, then drag an image from your current Board into your library. You can then press and hold, then drag the image into a different board. You can also duplicate a board by tapping under your Saved Boards.

Q: Can I edit text after it has been placed on the Board?
A: Yes, select the text and then tap to edit the text.

Q: Can I broadcast my Boards via social media or email?
A: Yes. Just tap .

Q: Can I add my own font?
A: Sorry, not at this time. Only preset fonts are available for use in Board.

Q: Can I save my Board as a JPEG or PSD?
A: Yes. Boards made on your iPad can be exported as flattened JPEGs or layered PSDs.

Q: How do I set up an account so my Boards are saved?
A: Please note your Boards are only saved to your device or places you personally save them. Boards are not saved to a server and do not sync between devices. It is always recommended to save backup JPGs to your Photo Library. Your account will give you access to the images you saved to the MyMorpholio Cloud for your use in Board.

Q: What can I do if isn’t Pinterest connecting?
A: Delete and reinstall the Pinterest app. Then reconnect Board to Pinterest.

Q: My Pinterest pins aren’t showing up in Board.
A: There is a lag when new pins are added - they will show up soon!

Journal

Q: How do I delete a journal?
A: Tap . Swipe the journal left to delete it. Note: You cannot delete your current journal so you will need to create a new one before deleting.

Q: Can I sync live journals across devices?
A: Not at this time.

Can new pages or spreads be inserted into a journal?
A: Not at this time.

How do I erase?
A: Tap on your brushes and select the eraser tool!

Morpholio

Q: Is my work automatically made public?
A: No. This feature is currently unavailable.

Q: How do I get my collections to sync on all of my devices?
A: All Morpholio collections are automatically synced when you sign into your account on any device. If they are not syncing properly there may have been an issue with your download. Please delete and re-install.

Q: What are the restrictions to size limits/ image dimensions?
A: Each image can be no larger than 5MB.

Q: How do I delete images from mymorpholio?
A: When adding images to a collection, unused images can be deleted by tapping Edit on the top right.

A: Log in to your account online, click Account and follow deletion instructions. If you have problems email us.

Q: How can I change my password?
A: Log in to your account online and click Change Password.

A: Use this form and we’ll send you your password.

Q: Can I change my email address associated with my account?
A: Yes. Email us with your request to change your email address.

Q: Are my projects and files backed up?
A: If you use iCloud backup, yes! All projects and files are automatically backed up when you use iCloud back up. You can turn this on in your Device Settings.

Q: How do I turn off auto renewal
A: To cancel the auto-renewal for your subscription:
1. Go into your Device Settings.
2. Tap on iTunes & App Stores.
3. Tap on your Apple ID at the top.
4. View Apple ID.
5. Tap Subscriptions.
