Vectorworks Connection
Moving between hand drawing and precise models and documentation is central to any architecture, interior, production, or product design workflow. Now, you can move drawing sets, models, and sketches between Morpholio Trace and Vector works seamlessly. The setup is easy; simply sign in to your Vectorworks Cloud Services account in Trace, and you are ready. Start in any Vectorworks product and then sketch in Morpholio Trace, or start in Trace and bring those ideas back into Vectorworks.

How to Move Between Trace and Vectorworks
Step 1. Export from Vectorworks
Export sheet layers, viewports, or a 3D model from Vectorworks.
Step 2. Import Into Trace
Tap "+" in the project area and then select "Vectorworks".
Step 3. Log Into Your Vectorworks Account
Sign into your Vectorworks account to access the Vectorworks Cloud where your files are stored.
Step 4. Select Your File
Tap on the file you want to draw on top of.
Pro Tip
You can also change the sort order, create a new folder, or select your files to copy, paste, or delete them.
Step 5. Draw
Create your masterpiece in Trace.
Step 6. Export to Vectorworks
When you’re done, tap the export button. Select "PDF" or "Image" to share your drawing as a raster-based reference file or "Vector" to share your drawing as an editable DXF.
On the next screen, hit the export button and then select "Save to Vectorworks".
Step 7. Design in Vectorworks
Choose the location and then hit "Save".
Now, when you open Vectorworks, you can directly import your Trace drawings.
