Guidelines

Please respect these Guidelines (as well as the Terms of Service) when creating digital collections, uploading content, and especially when sharing comments in any Morpholio product, application, or service. From time to time, we may change our content policies so please be vigilant about monitoring the latest Guidelines, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policies.

Unintended usage: The myMorpholio.com website and the Morpholio applications and services, as defined in the Terms of Service, and including, but not limited to Morpholio, Morpholio Trace, Morpholio Exhibit, Morpholio Board, and Morpholio Journal, are offered as services for Morpholio community members to share, innovate, exchange, and co-create around visual and digital content. We entrust that our users will utilize our products and services for the intended purposes; usage of any part of the Morpholio network infrastructure, website, mobile apps, or online services for unrelated commercial purposes (including the operation of similar content hosting and sharing services) is in violation of our Terms of Service and will result in content deletion or account termination. In addition, any impersonation of others through our products and services in a manner that is intended to or does mislead or confuse others will not be tolerated and will result in account termination.

Keep it relevant: For everyone's benefit please stay on topic. Please refrain from discussing personal matters, abusing any company or product, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to the content being shared.

Be courteous: Please make sure that you do not detract from anyone else's experience. In particular, please do not post anything unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, profane, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties.

No personal attacks, violent content or hateful content: Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment ("flaming") are not acceptable. In addition, users may not publish direct threats of violence against any person or group of people nor may users publish material that promotes hate toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.

Your own work: Do not post content you do not have the right to post or that infringes a third party's trademark, patent, trade secret, copyright, publicity, privacy, or other right. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. More information about our copyright procedures is available on the Terms of Service which can be found within the Services.

Pornography and obscenity: We do not allow content (including images and any digitally rendered or perceived content) that contains nudity, sexually graphic material, sexually suggestive material, or material that is otherwise deemed explicit by Morpholio. If Morpholio becomes aware of such content or material, it may be deleted without notification to the user. This includes, but is not limited to, content such as written, image or video content that promotes pedophilia, incest and bestiality or content that exists for the primary purpose of monetizing pornography content or driving traffic to a monetized pornography site. Morpholio operates a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography and will terminate and report to the appropriate authorities any user who publishes or distributes child pornography.

Keep it clear: Please communicate clearly so everyone can understand you. Avoid using slang, "net speak", or any other wording which might be difficult for all users to understand. We are a diverse community and seek to provide a comfortable environment where you can extract the maximum value from other community members. This can only happen if we can understand each other.

No advertising or commercials: The myMorpholio.com website and Morpholio iPad/iPhone applications are a service to Morpholio community members and are not intended for the promotion of third party services, products, websites, or organizations, except for our Sponsors. Posting advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation will not be tolerated. Your account may be terminated and you may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

No tampering: Do not attempt to intercept or harvest data about third parties, attempt to hack or break into public and non-public parts of the myMorpholio.com website, transmit malware and viruses, reverse engineer or compromise the Morpholio iPad/iPhone apps, or delete, tamper with, or revise any content or comment posted by anyone else. Your account may be terminated and you may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Unlawful use of services: Morpholio products and services should not be used for unlawful purposes or for promotion of dangerous and illegal activities. Your account may be terminated and you may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Guard your information: Do not post or upload any content that may contain sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers, Social Security Numbers, driver's and other license numbers, account numbers, address, or passwords. If you are asked for this information, do not provide it and please notify the Morpholio team via Morpholio customer service.

Be careful: Our experiences indicate that most Morpholio community members who are commenting on uploaded content are actively participating the co-creation process and trying to add value, but remember that their advice is theirs only and that you are ultimately responsible for deciding whether or not to follow it. If the advice sounds wrong to you, do not follow it. In addition, content generated by community members may contain links to third party web sites (“linked site”) that are not under the control of Morpholio, and Morpholio is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of any linked site. You enter a linked site at your own risk.

All usage of Morpholio Services, which includes but is not limited to all software and products, shall be governed by the Universal Terms, Additional Terms, and Terms of Service as defined and available on the www.mymorpholio.com website.
All images, graphics, text,  videos, audio, or content of any kind posted, displayed or stored on Morpholio products, services, applications or any of its Services, as defined in the Terms of Service, shall be subject to the terms and conditions defined in the Terms of Service.
Morpholio, when used herein, shall refer to and include Morpholio, Morpholio LLC, and any associated or subsidiary companies, products, services, applications, and software.

Morpholio reserves the right to remove any uploaded content or user-generated comments and meta-data that contain or link to material that violates our Terms of Service or usage Guidelines without notification. In addition, Morpholio may terminate the user account user to upload and or generate the violating content. Morpholio will have the final decision regarding matters such as content removal or user account terminations.
